Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department detains 26 people in raids

Under arrest: Canadian police have arrested two men and are seeking two others for exporting controlled goods and technologies intended for space satellite use to China in violation of export and defense laws.

KUALA LUMPUR:  Twenty-two illegal foreigners and four local men were detained by the Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department during a raid on two gambling dens and two massage parlours.

The operation, led by KL Immigration Intelligence and Operations Unit chief Mohd Sharulnizam Ismail, was carried out in Kepong and Pandan Indah Monday night and involved about 35 officers and personnel.
