KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has paid a visit to PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, who is recovering from surgery.
Abdul Hadi posted a picture of his meeting with the PKR president on his Facebook page on Saturday night.
Also present were PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali and vice-president Dr Shaharuddin Badaruddin.
“Received a visit from PKR’s leadership tonight in Kuala Lumpur,” Hadi said in a Facebook post.
Azmin tweeted: "Alhamdulillah, Hadi is recovering and getting healthier. He is heeding the doctor’s advice and is resting for a while”.
In a Facebook post, Azmin said Hadi was recovering after undergoing surgery.
It was reported that in May, Hadi underwent valve replacement surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN).
PAS’ highest decision-making body, the Syura Council, announced in May that the Islamist party would be severing all ties with PKR.
