KUALA LUMPUR: Insurance companies should encourage prediabetic clients to reverse the condition by offering incentives instead of loading them with high premiums, said National Diabetes Institute (Nadi) board of director Prof Datuk Dr Anuar Zaini Md Zain.

He said insurance companies should not lump them together with those who were already diabetic because although they have abnormal sugar levels, they were not diabetic yet and their condition could be reversed by changing their lifestyle.
