KUALA LUMPUR: The Penang Island City Council (MBPP) should not be run down if it received an overseas award for a job well done, says Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.
“I think if they received the award, it is on merit. Let’s not run down any council that has done well,” the Tourism and Culture Minister told reporters yesterday when asked about the European Business Assembly (EBA) awards controversy involving two councils in Penang.
