Former lawyer charged with RM400,000 CBT

KUALA LUMPUR: A 45-year-old former lawyer was charged in a Sessions Court here on Monday with criminal breach of trust (CBT) of more than RM400,000 belonging to his client.

Mohd Haidar @ Hasmayuyudin Mohd Hashim who was a practising lawyer at Messrs Mohd Haidar & Co, was entrusted with RM402,500 for the balance of the purchase price of a double-storey house in Bandar Baru Selayang last year.
