GEORGE TOWN: On top of not signing the anti-graft pledge, the state government had also abstained from signing the Integrity Pledge in 2013.
State exco member Datuk Abdul Malik Abul Kassim said the state avoided signing it because the Federal Government would not extend the pledge to require all holders of public office to declare their personal assets.
