KUALA LUMPUR: The government’s plans to study a request from the Indian Muslim community to be recognised as bumiputra appears to have drawn some positive reactions from netizens.
One Facebook user, Faizul Amri, agreed Indian Muslims should be granted bumiputra status, pointing out that the community were similar to the Malay community in terms of culture.
