KUALA LUMPUR: Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has clinched the gold award for best intellectual property management at the National Intellectual Property Award (AHIN) 2017, its fifth award at the annual event since 2008.
UPM vice-chancellor Prof Datin Paduka Dr Aini Ideris said the university had an “apt ecosystem” which enabled the creation and growth of entrepreneurial ventures via innovation, protection of intellectual property and product commercialisation.
