Idris Jusoh: Some PTPTN borrowers refuse to repay loans

KUALA LUMPUR: Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh (pic) says that there are many National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) borrowers who choose not to repay their debts despite earning a steady income and having the financial ability to do so.

He said a Bank Negara survey showed that some of the borrowers who refused to repay their PTPTN loans were actually able to service their car and housing loans.
