Md Raus Sharif remains as CJ for three years

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif (pix) will remain as Chief Justice for a period of three years commencing Aug 4 following his appointment as an additional judge in the Federal Court from the date and for the same period.

The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that Tan Sri Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin, who was appointed as an additional judge in the Federal Court for a term of two years from Sept 28, will continue to hold the position of  President of Court of Appeal from the date and for the same period.
