PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian singer-songwriter was so deeply affected by the crisis in the Arab Gulf region that she wrote a song in support of Qatar.

Johor-born Maizurah Hatta (pix) , who has been living in Qatar for about three years, said the country had given her the opportunity to propel her career.
