EPF move gets the thumbs up from desperate parents


PETALING JAYA: Parents, students and financial advisers have given the thumbs up to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) for making it easier for contributors to withdraw their savings from Account II to settle outstanding education loans.

Teacher B. Ranjeetha, 59, lauded the announcement but said it should have been made much earlier to help those struggling to repay their study loans.
