MELAKA: A woman claims that the headmistress of a vernacular school in Alor Gajah near here caned her daughter so violently until she started bleeding from her back.

The 38-year-old housewife said that her eight-year-old daughter was bleeding from her back when she returned home from school on June 22, the day she was allegedly punished.
