Special court for sexual offences against children sits for first time

PUTRAJAYA: The special court for child sexual crimes sat for the first time Tuesday with five cases heard.

Of the five cases, four were rape cases under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code and an outrage on decency case under Section 377D of the same Code, presided by Sessions Court judge Yong Zarida Sazali.
