GEORGE TOWN: Four Penang football supporters who were charged with rioting after a match at the City Stadium last year were given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal by a magistrate’s court here.
Magistrate L. Umma Devi freed hospital attendant Ruzairi Abd Rahman, 32, and factory workers Muhammad Fizry Sukor, 22, Muhammad Hafiz Abdullah, 25, and Shamsuri Aman Rusli Aman, 36, after prosecution witnesses failed to turn up in court during a hearing yesterday.
