One dead after bus crashes into highway maintenance lorry

One person, who was seated in the back of the lorry, died on the spot, while two others, including the driver, sustained severe injuries.

PENDANG: A tour bus crashed into a highway maintenance team lorry on Thursday morning, leaving one person dead and two others seriously injured.

Pendang district police chief Deputy Supt Fadzil Hashim said the incident took place at about 6.15am at KM65.5 of the North-South Expressway near here.
