PETALING JAYA: E-hailing companies must view incidences of as­­sault, especially sexual assault, seriously, said the Malaysian Insti­tute of Road Safety Research (Miros).

Its director-general Prof Dr Wong Shaw Voon said even though e-hailing services such as Uber and Grab provided unprecedented convenience, recent cases of assault and robbery by their drivers were a cause for concern.
