BANGI: The Government will review the criteria of eligibility for those seeking assistance under the Legal Aid Scheme to ensure only the truly deserving will be helped by the Legal Aid Department.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said said as of the first quarter of this year, more than 70% of cases covered under the scheme were divorce and family (civil) cases, as well as the execution of court orders.
