PETALING JAYA: The teacher who allegedly sodomised a student over 50 times could be sacked if found guilty, said Deputy Education Minister Datuk P. Kamalanathan.
The teacher from a school in Mukah, Sarawak, was detained after the 14-year-old victim told another teacher of his ordeal. Kamalanathan said the ministry took the matter seriously and would take necessary action to ensure justice was served.Teachers and students should immediately report to the higher authorities if anyone behaved suspiciously, he said.
