KUALA LUMPUR: Fifty-two children of single parents and from poor families experienced a day in the life of a fireman inside the Jalan Hang Tuah fire station, and broke fast with Fire and Rescue Department personnel.

The “Kami Sayang Kamu” programme, a collaboration between the Safety and Health Occupational Employees (SHOES), a pro-tem safety association, and the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department, is now into its third year.
