BAGAN DATUK: Administrators of religious schools need to be more responsible when it comes to the safety of their pupils, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He added that unfortunate incidents, such as the accident involving a van carrying tahfiz (religious) school pupils in Kelantan, could have been prevented had the school administrators carried out proper safety and preventive measures.
