THE state government’s plan to borrow money from the China Exim Bank through a Bill tabled in the House came under the spotlight when three PKR assemblymen voiced their reservations on the matter.
Dr Norlela Ariffin (PKR-Penanti), while supporting the Bill, suggested a special committee be set up to oversee the disbursement and usage of funds before any loan is approved so that the people would not be burdened with debts.
