GEORGE TOWN: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's information officer Zaidi Ahmad was slapped by a protester outside the Simpang Enam mosque here during a commotion.
Zaidi, 48, who is a former Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) officer, is believed to have approached a group of protesters headed by Jalinin Muslimin Pulau Pinang chairman Mohamed Hafiz Mohamed Nordin, who was speaking to the crowd.
