KUCHING: A police inspector was remanded for five days, while a businessman was fined RM10,000 and jailed for a day by the Special Corruption Court.
The 35-year-old inspector from the Kuching district traffic police headquarters was detained at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters last night on a charge of demanding a RM4,500 bribe from a traffic offender.
