KUALA LUMPUR: Political parties should start taking people with disabilities seriously, said National Council for the Blind Malaysia (NCBM) member Wong Yoon Loong.
"Political parties should start taking people with disabilities seriously and sooner or later, their votes will come," said Wong, who is the centre for advocacy research & empowerment manager in NCBM at a media workshop on accessible election for persons with disabilities in Malaysia here on Wednesday.
