Mahathir, Mukhriz sign 'free Anwar' petition at PKR congress

SHAH ALAM: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad signed a petition calling for the release of jailed PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the party's annual congress here on Sunday.  

The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) chairman signed the petition as he headed out of the convention hall after following the speeches by PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar.
