KUALA LUMPUR: Two masked men escaped with more than RM50,000 worth of vehicles and valuables after breaking into a house in Bandar Kinrara in Puchong.
It is learnt that the robbers, armed with machetes, had approached a 39-year-old woman at the porch of her home at about 6.10am on Wednesday and threatened her.
Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin said the duo forced the woman to surrender some RM2,500 in cash, RM20,000 in valuables and jewellery, and two sets of car keys.
“The suspects then tied up the woman before escaping with victim’s two cars.
“We are still in the midst of identifying the suspects,” ACP Chong said when contacted.
He added that the case had been classified under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for gang robbery.
