MACC investigations division director Datuk Azam Baki said the 56-year-old suspect was nabbed on Friday in Klang Valley under Ops Tiris along with eight others including a woman, who were from 14 companies that received payments for an unnamed ministry’s programs that never carried out.
PUTRAJAYA: Just 48 hours into its anti-graft campaigns, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has widened its net through a nationwide operation to nab bribe givers.
More than 15 people are expected to be charged in courts nationwide tomorrow for allegedly giving bribes, just two days after the MACC launched its Gerah and 3J anti-corruption campaigns.
