Penang exco: Second audit in 2015 did not reveal malpractice in zakat case

GEORGE TOWN: A second independent audit done in 2015 after a complaint was received over Pusat Zakat Negeri Pulau Pinang's (ZPP) tender process did not show evidence of any malpractice.

State Religious Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Malik Abul Kassim said auditors recommended that certain procedures in the tender process be tightened, which were duly implemented.
