KUALA LUMPUR: Several Hindu NGOs and activists lodged police reports against Perlis mufti Datuk Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin (pic) over a video of a talk he delivered, in which he is claimed to have made disparaging remarks about a Hindu deity.
The group made up of 10 NGOs claimed that Dr Mohd Asri, who is also known as Dr Maza, had insulted the Hindu religion as the undated video showed him claiming the wife of one deity had an extramarital affair.
