Tenant absconds, now ah Long wants landlord to settle loan


JOHOR BARU: A single mother has been living in fear for almost eight months as a group of loan sharks has been harassing her to settle a loan she did not take.

Clerk Chaan Shy Mey, 33, said her ordeal began last August when her tenant, a furniture worker from Kulim, Kedah, left her house at Taman Mesra in Ulu Tiram here without informing her.
