Malaysia’s trade performance in Q1 2017 recorded 24% growth

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s trade performance in the first quarter of 2017 recorded an increase of 24.3% to RM430.5bil compared with the same period last year.  

Describing the performance as “very encouraging,” International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said the latest year-on-year quarterly growth in total trade was the fastest recorded since the second quarter of 2010.
