GEORGE TOWN: Five men, including a Pakistani, believed to be agents who allegedly paid off officials to obtain temporary foreign workers permits (PLKS) without having to go through the stipulated procedures, have been remanded here and in Ipoh.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) yesterday obtained an order from the Penang magistrate’s court to detain two of them, aged 38 and 46, until May 2.
