KUALA LUMPUR: Water supply was fully restored by 10am Friday in about 40% of the areas experiencing water supply disruption in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Klang and Shah Alam.
Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) in a statement said every effort was being made to speed up the restoration of water supply to the other affected areas following the disruption on Thursday due to a burst water pipe in Sungai Buloh.
According to the statement, water tankers were still delivering water to the affected areas and this would continue until supply was fully restored.
