Private religious schools come under spotlight

PETALING JAYA: The tragic death of 11-year-old schoolboy Mohamad Thaqif Amin Mohd Gadaffi has put the operations of private religious schools under scrutiny.

Social activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir (pic) is leading calls to clamp down on these schools following the death of Mohamad Thaqif, who allegedly suffered abuse at the hands of a private religious school assistant warden
