Over 1,000 machines seized in illegal gambling raids in Ampang last year

AMPANG: Ampang Jaya cops had a successful run in Ops Dadu in 2016 during which time they conducted a total of 126 raids and seized 1,071 machines under Ops Dadu, which is aimed at curbing illegal gambling.

Between January and December 2016, the police arrested 134 individuals and seized 744 computers, 129 notebook computers and 198 slot machines in the operations.
