Six charged with murder of jobless man at temple

SELAYANG: Six men were charged at the magistrate's court here with the murder of an unemployed man at a Bandar Baru Kundang temple.

The suspects - driving assistant S. Sasi Kumar, 19, factory worker P. Saathia Seelan, 22, plumber S. Manivannan, 22, lorry driver R. Maniarasu, 24, Sasi Kumar and Maniarasu's teenage brother - were accused of murdering R. Jaya Saravanan, 38, at the grounds of Sri Muniswaran Temple in Bandar Baru Kundang here at 12.30am on April 7.
