KUALA LUMPUR: Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia (pic) said the debate on the Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act or RUU355 was deferred because the previous day's sitting had ended only at 5.05am on Thursday.
Pandikar also denied that the sitting was stopped abruptly.
