Public varsities to offer 5% places to foreign students

The Malaysian Government has agreed to offer 5% of the places at public higher learning institutions for medical, dentistry and pharmacy courses to foreign students, beginning this year.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said this move was in line with the decision to liberalise the education sector.
