ALOR SETAR: A group of residents from Kampung Tepi Laut and Kampung Tunku Laksamana near Kuala Kedah staged a peaceful protest against an ongoing reclamation project which they claimed could jeopardise their livelihood.
Fisherman Yusuf Mat Zain, who is the representative of the Kampung Tepi Laut Fishermen Action Force, urged the state government to consider the welfare of the people.
