GEORGE TOWN: Metal shutters on Level One and at the escalators leading to the Level Two of Komtar, where the lifts to the state government offices are located, were pulled down and shut Wednesday.
About 10 Komtar security personnel were seen guarding the area and monitoring the situation at about 11.40am, causing much anxiety to visitors and passers-by.
