Amendments to two existing laws to better protect children, women and men against sexual and domestic violence have been tabled at the Dewan Rakyat.
The proposed Domestic Violence (Amendment) Act 2017 sought to better protect victims of domestic violence by making provisions for an emergency protection order (EPO) as an addition to the existing interim protection and protection orders provided in the original Act.
