We women can do anything, says HK entertainer Maria Cordero

PETALING JAYA: Veteran singer Maria Cordero entertained and inspired the crowd at Star Media Group's WOW Talks and Bazaar, singing three songs and openly sharing her life story with advice to women not to bemoan their lot in life but to seize it 'because we can do anything'.

 "Instead of asking why we, as women, have to work double... work at home and hold down jobs too, we must look at the beauty of it. We women can do anything. We can handle many things at one go. Men can't. That's why everyone remembers Mother's Day while we have to remind our children about Father's Day," said Cordero, who is herself a mother of six.
