The Health Ministry has warned beauty salons to stop providing botox injection treatments to the public or risk facing stern action taken against them, the Parliament was told.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said such treatment could be harmful as beauty salons were not equipped to carry out such procedures which should to be conducted by experts or doctors recognised by the ministry.
