CASES of cyber crimes continue to increase – from 9,085 cases in 2015 to 11,186 last year, the Dewan Rakyat was told.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said based on police statistics, a total loss of RM212.82mil was recorded last year due to cyber crimes, compared to RM179.27mil in 2015.
