Price Control Act has long lost its bite, says CAP

GEORGE TOWN: The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) is calling for enforcement of price tagging after repeated surveys show a blatant disregard for the Price Control Act.

CAP president S.M. Mohamed Idris urged the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry to conduct a nationwide check and enforce the laws in accordance to Section 8(1) of the Price Control Act 1946 Amendment 1973.
