KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Bar has voted not to put a cork in the serving of alcohol at its functions.
The motion on banning alcohol, proposed by lawyer Mohd Amir Sharil Bahari Md Noor, was rejected at the Bar's Annual General Meeting on Saturday, with 588 votes against it, less than 10 in favour and 16 abstaining from voting.
