Rani Kulup celebrates birthday outside North Korean Embassy

KUALA LUMPUR: Army veteran Abdul Rani Kulup led a gathering of two non-governmental organisations outside the North Korean Embassy on Jalan Batai, calling for peace and the safe return of nine Malaysians in Pyongyang.

Members of Martabat Jalinan Muhibbah Malaysia (MJMM) and Malaysia Muslim People's Coalition gathered outside the embassy Friday expressing their hope that bilateral ties between Malaysia and North Korea would improve and be restored.
