Four caught smuggling controlled items in waters off Kudat

KOTA KINABALU: A Malaysian citizen and three others were arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle controlled goods from waters off Kudat early Wednesday.

The four were caught with 10 units of gas cylinders, 51kg of cooking oil, 36kg of sugar and 80kg of wheat flour in a vessel at about 3.50am.
