KLANG: A Klang Municipal Council (MPK) department director and another employee have been charged separately in magistrate's courts here over the botched fireworks incident on Jan 1.
MPK Corporate and Social Department director Zaireezal Ahmad Zainuddin and administrative assistant Mohd Nizam Saad were charged separately over the New Year's event that saw 15 people injured by fireworks exploding on the ground at the Pandamaran Sports Complex here.
